Salesforce is a pioneer of the 1-1-1 integrated philanthropy model. Now the Pledge 1% movement is changing the face of business philanthropy. ● Salesforce’s CSR initiatives globally has resulted in $475M+ in giving; 6.2M hours of employee volunteer time; and 52,000 non-profits, schools, and philanthropic organisations using Salesforce technology for free or at a discount. Out of which, contribution across the APAC region includes: o +604,000 volunteer hours o +US$7.3M in grants o +3,500 non-profits using our technology o +2,100 companies have taken the Pledge 1% challenge (adopted the 1-1-1 model) ● Pledge 1% is a global movement to create a new normal where giving back is baked into the DNA of companies of all sizes. o Salesforce co-founded Pledge 1% to encourage companies to dedicate 1% time, 1% product, 1% profit and/or 1% equity to improve the state of the world. o More than 12K companies in 130 countries have joined Pledge 1%, including companies like TripAdvisor, Glassdoor and Twilio. ● Giving back is one of the most rewarding parts of our job. Salesforce works with, and for, the community, and leverages our influence, people and technology to maximise social impact and improve the state of the world. This is stakeholder capitalism at work.
